Kitty Mount Passed Away in October
For those of you who remember Dick and Kitty Mount who lived in both Abqaiq and Ras Tanura.
Kitty Mount passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008, with her family at the hospital with her. After suffering with a cough for a long time, she was finally diagnosed with arthritis of the lungs. Her son Ricky and his family had flown in and he is staying as the memorial service will be this coming Saturday. Julie, their daughter, has been taking care of her parents while still teaching school, and will continue taking care of Dick with the help of their church friends.
Our two families were like one since meeting in Abqaiq and we have stayed that way. My Dad was from Indiana and so were the Mounts. When Julie finished college in Indiana, her first teaching job was in Killeen, TX and she is still there. We all worked on Dick and Kitty until we finally got them to move down here several years ago. Dick and Kitty were at my Mom's memorial service and as she was dying, Julie told her that my mom was waiting for her in Heaven. It is wonderful at these times to know that we are going to a place that is more wonderful than words can describe and that our loved ones are there waiting for us.
