Pearl Lindy Constance-Wardell

Pearl Lindy Constance-Wardell, (nee Henderson) age 94, on December 23, 2022. A long-time resident of Newtown Square, PA, and Darby, PA.

Predeceased by her husbands David Constance of Syracuse, NY and Francis Wardell of Darby, PA.

Survived by her children, John Stewart Constance (Brenda), Kathryn Krakowiak (Walter), Marie Constance Lewis (Roy), Thomas Constance (Marie) and Richard Constance (Stacy), and also her 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Barbara H. Coughlin, a long-time resident of Watertown, NY.

A celebration of life will occur in April 2023 on her birthday.

Contributions in Lindy's memory may be made to the Delaware County Historical Society.

Lindy was a published Genealogist, Historian, Author, and active civic Volunteer.

Lindy lived in the Middle East for 7 years where her three youngest children were born. She assisted religious and civic groups in supporting and caring for refugees and homeless people there. She traveled extensively in the Holy Land, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Rome, Amsterdam, and The Hague. She gave lectures and slide presentations on the Holy Land and Saudi Arabia to churches, civic and professional groups, and to school classes.

Lindy lead an active life of work and volunteerism.
