Robert L. Powell
Word has been received of the death of Robert L. Powell on March 12 while on temporary assignment in the Engineering Department of Aramco Services Company in Houston, Tex. He was 32 years old.
Mr. Powell joined Aramco as an engineer in 1975 and was assigned to the Project Management Department in Abqaiq. He held a brief acting assignment as senior project engineer in the same department and left in September of last year to take up his temporary assignment with ASC in Houston.
Mr. Powell is survived by his widow, Carol Sue, and a two-year old son, Damon. Mrs. Powell may be contacted c/o Jerry Albrecht, 10703 Creektree, Houston, Tex., 77070.
The company has been advised that a memorial fund has been established in the general scholarship fund at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Mr. Powell's alma mater.
