Syed Sabir Shah, 68, of Kamala, Attock Pakistan, after bravely fighting Leukemia took his last breath in the presence of all his loved ones on the afternoon of July 6th in Windsor, ON. "Surely we belong to Allah and to him shall return". ~Holy Quran
Funeral services were held at 14:00 hrs on Saturday, July 8th at Masjid Bilal Canton MI. Burial was followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery MI.
Syed Sabir Shah was born in Kamala, Attock Pakistan on November 19, 1954. He graduated from the University of Karachi and later joined Sindh Police. In 1980, he joined Saudi Aramco in Abqaiq Saudi Arabia. He married Misbah on May 5, 1991, in Karachi, Pakistan. After serving Saudi Aramco for 35 years, where he raised his three children, he retired as a planning and program Analyst from the Security Dept. in Abqaiq in 2015.
Syed Sabir Shah was very active in the Abqaiq community, be it social events or sport activities. He was very active with the Scrabble group having won many positions. Shah was fond of travelling & had a special love for culinary art as a foodie. Abqaiq Community & his friends will long cherish his memories of being a camp resident.
He is survived by his loving wife Misbah Shah, son Uzair Shah, and daughters Gul Shah and Areeba Shah.
