The Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) took the initiative to organize a grand flag hoisting ceremony in Karachi, the capital city, to commemorate this historic day. The event aimed to bring together citizens from all walks of life to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by the forefathers of the nation and to reiterate the commitment to a united and prosperous Pakistan.

The Flag Hoisting Ceremony organized by IEP was a showcase of unity, patriotism, and national pride. The event commenced early in the morning with a lively atmosphere marked by the presence of distinguished guests. The guests of honor on this occasion were:

The ceremony took place at in front of IEP Building. The ceremony started by the recitation of few verses from the Holy Quran. The National Anthem played in the background, resonating with the emotions of the attendees as they stood in unison, paying their respects to the flag. The fluttering green and white flag against the clear sky symbolized the aspirations and achievements of the nation. The proceedings were handled by:

Following the flag hoisting, a series of speeches were delivered by notable guests, highlighting the significance of the day, the struggles of the past, and the vision for a prosperous future of the nation. These speeches encouraged citizens to work together for the progress of the country and to uphold the values of unity, faith, and discipline.

Last but not the least all the guests were served with the hot breakfast in the dining hall at the 5th floor of IEP building.
