Congratulations to Dr. Anum Aftab Khan, daughter of Aftab Ahmed Khan and Khushtar Aftab, and niece of Engr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan, Vice President of Saudi Aramco Ex-Employees Association (SAEEA).
Anum was born in Karachi but spent most of her childhood in Hyderabad. She memorized the Holy Quran and became a Hafiza in 2003, Mashaallah. She completed her primary education at Royal Cambridge School in Hyderabad and did her matriculation in 2011. Dr. Khan did her intermediate (Pre-Medical) from Army Public College in 2013.

Anum went to Michigan, USA in 2014 and completed her Bachelor of Science from St. Clairs County College and UCONN (University of Connecticut).
In 2018, she started Pharmacy School at St. Joseph School of Pharmacy and earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2021.
Furthermore, she is planning to take the Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) certification exam, Inshaallah.

She is happily married to Taimur Barlas and lives with her husband in Connecticut. Recently, she performed Umrah with her husband, sister and uncle. Currently, she is visiting Karachi for her cousin's wedding. SAEEA wishes her a bright future.
