Rachel Mary Upton of Yanbu Weds Hans Weaver Baldwin of New Zealand.
Rachel Mary Upton, daughter of Tim and Sheila Upton of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, married Hans Weaver Baldwin, son of Alec and Christina Baldwin of Putaruru, Waikato, New Zealand on Friday, 14th, February 2003. The ceremony took place at the Mission Estate Winery, Napier, New Zealand and was attended by guests from England, Scotland, Japan, Australia, USA, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. The couple honeymooned in Matamanoa Island, Fiji.
Rachel attended the Yanbu International School in the 1980’s before departing for St. Mary and St. Anne Girls School, England and London Institute, where she obtained a B.A. in Retail Management.
The couple met at a flying school in Dundee, Scotland. Hans is a commercial pilot for the Air Ambulance Service in New Zealand and Rachel has recently obtained her private pilot’s license and is currently studying for her British Air Traffic Pilot’s license.
