My son Zubair invited us, his parents, for dinner along with his wife and two kids, Hamza and Huzaifa, to a newly opened restaurant located near Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
The Ancient Stone Flames (ASF) Barbecue & Grill is India’s first Lava Stone Restaurant and is attracting a lot of visitors to dine in. It caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
The ambiance and set up were very soothing and it made the food more enjoyable.
My son made prior reservations, and upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the staff and their supervisor.
My grandchildren loved the food and were busy playing with the multicolor balloons provided by the restaurant.
The dinner began with BBQ items which included grilled chicken, shrimp, fish, mutton kababs and multiple vegetarian options.

Zubair was coordinating for us with the hotel staff to get service as per our requirements.
I took my grandchildren to the Kids Zone where there was a variety of chocolate options, popcorn, pizza, ice cream, etc.

The main course had several items, but the most notable was the internationally recognized dish of Hyderabad, Biryani (Mutton + Top quality rice + Zaffran + multiple spices), and in dessert the famous Gulab Jamun.

To our surprise, while leaving the restaurant, at the exit a smiling face greeted us with courtesy help to open the door, he was none other than the Director of the Restaurant, Abhilash, asking for feedback about the experience including food and service.
Overall, it was a wonderful dinner which I enjoyed and wish to visit again in the future.
