The NED69ers Group graduated in 1969 from the NED Government Engineering College Karachi and is spread all over the globe. They are connected with each other through e-mails/WhatsApp and do meet occasionally in Karachi and around the world to refresh their sweet old memories of NED.

Engr. Shahnawaz Ahmad recently attended the NED69ers Reunion held in Canada arranged by Engr. Rehan Akhtar and group. After attending the reunion he decided to utilize one week of his vacation with his family in Karachi. He is visiting Karachi for a week with his elder brother Engr. Nooruddin Ahmad, younger sister, and her family in Karachi.

Engr. Syed Zafaruddin Ahmad called Engr. Shahnawaz to keep his Sunday, October 15 free for lunch, he was faster than us and being a cousin of Shahnawaz, otherwise Engr. Najam Ul Hasnain and others were planning to arrange a get-together on any day that Shahnawaz can afford to join us for lunch or dinner.

Engr. Zafaruddin Ahmad arranged a lunch at Karachi Golf Club (KGC) on Sunday, October 15, 2023. He also arranged lunch for Shahnawaz on July 05, 2017 at (KGC) when he visited his brother on his 75th Happy Birthday. Zafar invited very few guests as he could not get space for more people because of short notice. So we have to express our regrets to a few friends after inviting them for this reason. All the friends got latest update on NED69ers Reunion held in Canada in September 22-24, 2023 under the leadership of Engr. Rehan Akhtar. During the discussion Engr. Shahnawaz invited all attendees to join NED69ers Reunion planned to take place in Los Angeles (LA) USA in September 2024 tentative.
The food was very delicious and was very well served. The dessert and the green tea was the last item served. We all enjoyed the food and the informative discussion before and during the lunch. We all thanked Engr. Syed Zafaruddin Ahmad for the lunch and the reunion of NED69ers.
Last but not the least we prayed for the health of all NED69es and Dua for those friends who left us and special dua for Engr. Khalid Tai’s health.
Finally we had few group pictures for remembrance and we all departed with good wishes to meet soon Insha Allah with a pledge to be in touch with each other. We wish Engr. Shahnawaz Ahmad a safe journey back home.
