Oil Exhibit Center Opens - 1963

From the Aug. 28, 1963 edition of the Sun and Flare.

At a formal opening on Sunday, Aug. 25, His Highness Amir 'Abd al-Mushin ibn Jiluwi, acting Governor of the Eastern Province, cuts the ribbon across the entrance of the Oil Exhibit Center in Dhahran.

Beginning Sunday, all interested Aramco employees and their families may visit the Center, Mondays through Fridays. Hours will be from 3 to 10 p.m. Entrance through September will be by company identification card. Later, the general public will be invited to visit the Exhibit.

The Oil Exhibit Center is located in the western half of the building in which the Dhahran Dining Hall is located. The Exhibit has been planned to show the scope of Aramco's operations.
