Henry R. (Hank) Barracano died February 14, 2022 in Spring, Texas. He was born April 8, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to Ralph and Josephine (Chianese) Barracano He graduated from Towsend Harris High School in Manhattan at age 16. In 1943, he enlisted in the Army and served in both the Infantry and the Signal Corps.

Philip Joseph Halpin Jr.

On February 3, 2022 Heaven admitted a wonderful new resident, Philip Joseph Halpin Jr. At 91 years of age Phil passed gently on to be with our Lord. No doubt “Fairway Phil” is having a loving reunion with his beloved wife, Joan Halpin and his beloved daughter Siobhan Halpin.

Charles Richard "Dick" Maise, was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 1, 1930, a date that his family has always credited (or blamed) for his sense of humor. He was 91. He grew up in Belleville, NJ. Having been interested in rocks from a young age, (his family saying was that he had rocks in his head, and in his pockets) he graduated from Amherst College class of 1952 with a degree in Geology.

Sarah "Sally" Curran joined the love of her life, her husband of 40+ years, Thomas "Tom" Curran on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Sally was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. She earned a nursing degree and took a nursing position with Aramco in Saudi Arabia. It was there that she met Tom.

Herbert Kenneth Acord, Jr.

Herbert Kenneth (Kent) Acord, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022. He was born on September 7, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Sophia Wadsworth Acord and Herbert Kenneth Acord. Kent grew up in Houston and graduated from Jeff Davis High School. In 1955 as a student in Austin at the University of Texas, he met and married the love of his life, Janet (Kitsie) Cleaves.

Aileen Stanley Flemming

Aileen Stanley Flemming, 91, of Springfield, died on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at St. John's Hospital, surrounded by her children. She was a resident of Concordia Village in independent living for over 10 years and enjoyed reading and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Aileen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill (March 18, 2009), her parents, and her brother, Robert Stanley.
