Bernard T. Mowbray
Bernard T. Mowbray, son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Mowbray of Ras Tanura, died in an accident last Thursday, June 11, two days before his fourteenth birthday.
Bernie was born in Arabia and had most of his education in Ras Tanura, except for the 6th and 7th grades, the years he attended the Abqaiq School. An award winning athlete, he participated in almost every sport the Aramco schools had to offer, including baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf, and scuba diving. He was currently on the Honor Roll and had taken part in the most recent 8th grade Knowledge Bowl.
In addition to his parents, Bernie is survived by an older brother, John F., Jr., 16, and his sister, Tamara, 10. Funeral services were held in the Najmah Theater on Saturday, July 13. [Photograph]
