Georges Salloum
From left to right: Elie, Serene, Giselle, and Georges.Georges Salloum, 67, passed away November 2nd in Montreal, Canada where he had been residing for the past 4 years. He was born March 13th, 1940 in Beirut, Lebanon.
He is survived by his wife Therese, his children and their spouses Elie (Katia), Giselle (Kamal), Serene (Roger), the mother of his children May (ex-wife), his mother Marie and brothers and sisters in Lebanon.
After 25 years of service for Tapline/Aramco in Turaif (served from 1965 to 1990), Georges went back to Lebanon, started a business and re-married to Therese El-Khoury. In 2003, Georges and Therese moved to Montreal to be with his three children.
While in Montreal, Georges enjoyed traveling and discovering his new country of living, the more relaxed environment and the snowy Canadian winters! Most of all, Georges enjoyed telling funny Tapline stories at family gatherings which he and his wife held often…
