Gregory Thomas Chimbos Passes Away

Gregory Thomas Chimbos, age 40, of Yardley, PA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at home.  Born in Troy, NY, he lived in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Netherlands and Saudi Arabia; eventually moving to Yardley in 1982.  He was employed as a Complex Administrative Manager and Vice President of Morgan Stanley of Princeton, NJ. 

Greg, an avid tennis player, was very active with charities; especially the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Organization.  He was also involved with organizations dealing with Leukemia and Cancer.  Greg especially enjoyed volunteering his time coaching his son Nicholas with various Lower Makefield youth sports programs.  A very social person, he will be long remembered by his warm personality and ability to bring people together.  He was a devoted husband and loving father. 

He will be greatly missed by the love of his life Jeannine (nee: Sottile); his beautiful children Nicholas, Helen, and Benjamin.  He is the cherished son of Denise and the late Peter Chimbos of Sarasota, FL; brother of Matthew Chimbos and his wife Debbie of Chandler, Arizona, Alex Chimbos and his wife Kristine of Bozeman, Montana, and Elena Kyle and her husband Kevin of Westford, Mass.  He was dearly loved by his in-laws Sunny and Mary Sottile.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his aunts Iffie Boulogiane and Candy Nagi; his sister-in-law Mariann Clark and her husband Mike; and brother-in-law Dominick Sottile and his wife Carolyn and many friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 5-8 pm, and Monday, 8:30-9:15 am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am at St. Ann Church in Bristol Boro, PA.  Interment will follow in our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
