Liam Smith
Liam (William) Smith, died, aged 72, at his home in Taillecavat, France on 6th June 2022 after a short illness.
He originally came from Scotland, and worked with Aramco for over 30 years, from 1980 until he retired in 2011, when he moved to France. During his career with Aramco he worked in Shedgum, Abqaiq, Udhailyah, and finally in Dhahran as a Senior Planning and Programs Analyst.
He was very active in Abqaiq and Dhahran amateur dramatics groups and was the director for two Dhahran productions, The Producers, and Mamma Mia.
He is survived by his grandson Kyle McCulloch, and his sisters Angela and Yvonne Smith.
