Owen J. E. Smith
Memorial services were held this morning at the Dhahran Theater for Owen J. E. Smith, 44, who suffered a heart attack Oct. 18 in Dhahran.
Mr. Smith arrived here in September 1974 from Exxon on a two-year loan assignment to Aramco. He worked as a senior engineering associate in the Reservoir Systems Unit of the Petroleum Engineering Department. Mr. Smith was first here from July 1971 to December 1972 as a petroleum engineer, also on loan assignment to the Petroleum Engineering Department. Surviving Mr. Smith are his wife, Catherine Mary, a daughter, Deborah Lynn Smith, and a stepdaughter, Joanne Adams. [Photograph]
