Dhahran — After 28 years with Saudi Aramco, Upstream Ventures Special Projects Division principal professional George Yeung has retired. Born in Hong Kong, Yeung and his wife, Cynthia, have three children — Jason, Jennifer and Jordan — and four grandchildren — Riley, Darcy, Preston, and Hunter.

Many of you may recognize this photo of Jeffrey of Arabia. Jeffrey Jaszczak was just 11 years old when the photo was taken. He lived in Dhahran behind the snack bar and then on Hufuf in Dhahran Hills when the photo was selected for a promotional ad for Aramco in the 80's.
This past March 16th, 2018, Grace and Bob Banta celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary aboard the cruise ship, Caribbean Princess, by reenacting the wedding ceremony and by renewing their vows.

After spending several years in Abqaiq, Shirley and Cornell retired to Mableton, Georgia. They arrived in the “Friendly City” in 1980 and retired in 2012. While living in Abqaiq, they were involved in the Boy and Girl Scouts, Little League Baseball, the Abqaiq School and the SEAE.

Andrea Kopczynski Peterson, daughter of Barbara and Ed Kopczynski, is suffering from Scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease. Andrea grew up in Ras Tanura and Dhahran along with her sister Erica and brother Patrick who died in 2010 and whose two children Andrea and her husband Craig have taken in to raise as their own along with their four children.
