NED69ers are spread all over the globe with most relatives residing in Karachi and other parts of Pakistan. Recently, Engr. Shakil Haider (Civil) came to visit his family in Karachi for a special occasion. Engr. Cdr. ® Najam Ul Hasnain took the initiative and arranged a get-together dinner at DHA Club on January 15, 2024 in Karachi. The attendees were as follows:

It was a very nice gathering and we talked about the good golden days of NED Government Engineering College (Burns Road) Karachi during our stay of four years in the college. As we were all in our memory lane and trying to remember who are not with us. It is good to remember and pray for our old friends who are no more with us and we all did so.
Engr. Shakil Haider has not only done his engineering he has also done his CSS Examination and worked for some time in the government.
He has lots of his batch mates who are in active service and part of the present government. We did discuss a lot about the present situation of the government and about the upcoming general elections in the country.

Najam has arranged a very delicious menu and we all enjoyed the dinner and desserts and last but not the least the green tea. The good part of lunch was that it was table served and hot at all the time.
As soon as we finished our green tea it was time to depart with a promise to meet soon on some other occasion. May ALMIGHTY protect all our friends and keep them all in good health. Ameen.
